BUFFALO BILLS VS. CAROLINA PANTHERS – October 25^th, 2009

SATURDAY NIGHT:  A pre-game party has been planned at:

This is the Charlotte Bills Backers official game viewing location.  The bar can hold 175 people. Great Wings, Fish Fry, and Beef on Weck.  It’s a direct route from downtown (about 20 min.drive).

SUNDAY MORNING TAILGATE:

The day of the game we will have a buffet of wings, hot dogs, ziti meatball, salads, chips and 2 drink tickets for beer, tea, and soda. Plus, beverages on the bus for tailgating at the game. The Buffet will be from 11am to 2pm and then we have hired buses to carry everyone to and from the game. The cost of tailgate party and bus will be $45.00ea. This is a suburban location about 2 blocks from the Township Grill and 20 mins. from downtown. Call direct for reservations and request Code BBG - $89 per night.  This rate is good until Oct 1.

DOWNTOWN CHARLOTTE - This will be the official Pinto Kenny/bowling ball shots/Aussie/Texas/West Coast/New York Bills Backers Hotel, party and tailgate - all are welcome!!

The Buffalo Bills Fans rate is $115 per night including free wi-fi. We have only blocked 50 rooms so call early. This rate is good until Sept 30. This is the only hotel close to the stadium that has an outdoor pool

The B of A stadium is in the city center of Charlotte surrounded by many restaurants, bars, shops etc. So you have a big choice of activities right within walking distance.

SATURDAY NIGHT PRE-GAME:
That weekend will be Buffalo Bills weekend at the new TOWN TAVERN, 200 N. Tryon Street (downtown). It's a two story sports bar owned by a Buffalo native and they would love to welcome us for the Saturday night pre-game party (and any other time as well). It's one block to the Courtyard hotel and also very close to the BILLS “official” hotel. They will also have drink specials for us. Come anytime.

SUNDAY TAILGATE: As most of you know - there is no "stadium" parking. I have found a cash lot ($20) that is about 5 blocks from the stadium. It opens about 11am and is a large surface lot where we can tailgate. If you want to guarantee a parking spot you can reserve online (I just booked 5 spaces) at http://www.preferredparking.com/eventsmap.asp?EventID=34. It's lot #309 at 309 West Trade Street. You can call ahead to see if you can get in earlier.
